Fernsehturm
The Fernsehturm or TV tower is situated in one of the quiet neighborhoods of Stuttgart. This attraction offers a cool observation deck at an immense height and from here, you can view the best panoramas of Stuttgart. If these sweeping city views are not enough for you, there’s also a petit cafe up there for you to enjoy a cup of coffee along with the views! Entry tickets are €7 for adults and €4 for children between the age of 6-15 years. For groups, there are concessions. |
Wilhelma Zoo
Wilhelma is a zoological-botanical garden in the northern part of Stuttgart. Formerly a royal park, it is situated in the grounds of a historic castle and it is hence surrounded by Moorish-style buildings. The zoo has an area of around 30 hectares and houses around 1200 animals. This may sound intimidating but you can visit all the highlights with an easy stroll! Entry tickets are €16,00 for adults and €8 for children between the age of 6 and 17. Groups of more than 15 people have reduced fees. |
Cannstatter Frühlingsfest
Europe's largest spring festival invites you to Stuttgart. Enjoy the festivities from the 21st of April - 13th of May 2018. The Frühlingsfest holds over twenty rides, four large beer tents, snack bars, beer gardens, and market stalls. Entrance to the Cannstatter Frühlingsfest is free of charge, however, rides, food, and drinks are payed separately. |
Mercedes Benz Museum
The Mercedes-Benz Museum is one of the highlights of Stuttgart and not just for car enthusiasts. Boasting nine levels and covering a floor space of 16,500 square meters, the museum has over 1500 exhibits and around 160 vehicles. The museum also presents more than 130 years of automobile history, all in a single continuous timeline. Definitely a must-see for every tourist to Stuttgart! Porsche Museum
The Porsche Museum is located in the Zuffenhausen district of Stuttgart, close to the Porscheplatz S-bahn station. The museum houses exhibits tracing Porsche’s history with vehicles from the early 20th century to the present. It also has a futuristic outlook and provides information on Porsche’s engineering and marketing concepts. A must-see for car enthusiasts and a good visit for all! Schlossplatz, Schlossgarten and Königstraße
Schlossplatz or Palace Square is Stuttgart’s central square. Flanked by historic buildings and shopping streets all around, this is the busiest place in Stuttgart. Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg
The Ludwigsburg Residential Palace is one of the largest Baroque buildings in Europe. Situated in Ludwigsburg, around 12km from Stuttgart, this palatial complex blends three quite different architectural styles: Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassicism. The variety of museums and exhibitions make it one of the most popular tourist attractions in Germany. Don’t forget to visit the adjoining gardens that surround the palace on three sides.
